First once again - I must say that this author has a wonderful way of expressing her character and their feelings. And I simply adore the dirty phrases that come from our hero's mouth. He is a dream come true for me.

I would have rated this higher, but I have to say initially, I was irritated at James. He truly came across as a crazy stalker, and I would have been truly afraid of him rather than attracted to him as Harper was - at least, she seemed to have some parts fear but a greater sexual attraction. I think a bit more of an explanation as to the backgrounds of the two initially in the story would have kept me from genuinely not liking the hero at first.

However, the story does flow and you do learn that they have a history, and there is a reason for his interest. There is a cliffhanger, as this is a novella, prequel to a new series by this author. And I honestly am ready to read the next part, because I think we are going to have some romance, some sizzling love scenes, and a mystery.
