Hostile Witness
I would have checked 4 stars but I think the closer it got to the end of the story, the more the author felt like she had to have "scenes" where the main character had to get pissy with everyone because of how strongly she felt about her client's innocence. Reading it over and over made me frustrated with her rather than empathizing. But that is my only complaint - I think it was a good mystery and I really did enjoy the main character (which is why I hated the extra whining).
